Workplace Training
Workplace Training is designed to help young Albertans seeking employment in the Southern Alberta area. Training can last up to 16 weeks and employers are reimbursed for the training they provide the youth. The program is intended to lead to permanent employment. This program matches youth to areas of employment according to their interests. If you are interested in working in the Trades, Workplace Training is a great place to start. Workplace Training assists youth to increase their skills and thereby obtain viable employment through direct training on the job with prospective employers.
